When the subject is cancer, sometimes the most urgent need is information. The Hamilton Cancer Institute (HCI) offers an information line and a cancer library. Both services are free and open to the public each business day.
Open: Monday- Friday from 8AM – 5PM
The Resource Center provides an atmosphere of comfort and learning. There is both a lending library as well as free literature/brochures to learn about cancer. There are computers available for patients/visitors to research and print needed information. There is ample room and resources to find fellowship, support, and service.

Directions and information on additional support groups can be obtained by calling 706.272.6605. Volunteers at HCI offer their counsel during support groups, providing help with wigs, manicures, makeup, etc.
HCI dispenses free makeup kits and wigs that are provided by The American Cancer Society.
HCI has a vanity room to try on wigs, scarves, and hats. We provide free scarves and hats that are donated for patients experiencing hair loss. We also work with the American Cancer Society who provides a large selection of free wigs.
