
Two Academic Internists needed for New Internal Medicine GME Program in North Georgia
Hamilton Health Care System located in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia, is seeking an Academic Internist to join the Internal Medicine Residency program which launches in 2020. Ideal candidates will be committed to educational excellence while see their own patients in an outpatient only setting, one half day per week.
Position Details are as follows:
- Candidates must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Teaching experience at an Academic Institution is preferred, but not required

Successful candidates will join a growing and innovative outpatient primary care practice located in North Georgia and become part of a multispecialty clinic with onsite lab, imaging and procedure suite. Practice one half day per week.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate outstanding skills in teaching, clinical medicine, decision making, communication, and collaboration. Previous experience as a clinician educator is not required, but preferred. Applicants must have an MD or DO degree and be authorized to work in the U.S.
