As a not-for-profit community health system and hospital, Hamilton’s mission is to serve the health care needs of the Northwest Georgia region. All Hamilton resources are dedicated to health care services for the benefit of the communities in the region.

The privilege to serve all regardless of their ability to pay remains a cornerstone of Hamilton’s mission.  However, it demands fiscal discipline and careful planning.

The Foundation was established in 1975 to encourage charitable gifts that support and advance the mission of Hamilton Health Care System and Affiliates. All gifts to the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation are allocated for facilities, medical equipment and programs that enhance patient care, promote health education, provide access to care regardless of the ability to pay and improve the quality of life in our region.
