Quinton Memorial Receives Zero Deficiencies On State Survey

December 6, 2017

Quinton Memorial Receives Zero Deficiencies

Quinton Memorial Health and Rehabilitation recently received a zero-deficiency rating in its annual recertification survey by the state of Georgia.

The zero-deficiency survey result means Quinton is in compliance with the rules and regulations that govern skilled nursing facilities set by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and that quality care is being provided.

Steve Fromm, Hamilton Long Term Care operations director, talked with one of the surveyors who said, “I have seen a lot of nursing homes over the years, and this is one I would be willing to recommend for my family and friends.”

The state average for deficiencies in Georgia is 4.4, and the national average is 6.5.

“This survey result is evidence of the excellent work that Dennis Stout (administrator), Tammy Wilson (director of nursing) and their entire team does on a regular basis!” said Fromm.
