Through her experience working in a range of healthcare settings, including hospital inpatient, home health, nursing home and outpatient clinics, Ginger is able to understand the “big picture” of each patient’s health journey and care for them with a high level of skill. Shalaka Akolkar, DO
Dr. Akolkar is a gastroenterologist at Hamilton Physician Group-Gastroenterology in Dalton, Georgia. She attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and her fellowship in gastroenterology at UNC Blue Ridge.
