Dr. Sumaiya Khondker is a board-certified neurohospitalist at Hamilton Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada, and attended medical school at All Saints University School of Medicine in Roseau, Dominica. She then completed her residency training in neurology at Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and her fellowship in neurocritical care at Emory University and Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Khondker describes her patient care philosophy as “helping patients and their families make healthcare decisions by integrating the latest medical research and technological advances in order to achieve optimal health outcomes.”
