William Hardeman Jr., DO, MPH

September 6, 2022

Dr. Hardeman is a general surgeon at Hamilton Physician Group-General Surgery in Dalton, Georgia. He obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Public Health Administration at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, and attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine-Georgia Campus in Atlanta, Georgia. He then completed his residency training in general surgery at the OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

“I realized that I wanted to be a physician when I was 10 years old,” says Dr. Hardeman. “As a young child, I watched my mother, an oncology nurse, care for her patients. That had a big impact on me.” Dr. Hardeman chose to specialize in general surgery because it often provides the opportunity for his patients to experience immediate results.

“North Georgia holds a very special place in my heart. I love the people and the natural beauty in this region. I have never felt more at home.”

Dr. Hardeman enjoys spending time with his wife and children, going to the gym, and watching college football.

T. Sean Dunn II, MD

July 26, 2022

Dr. Dunn is a cardiac electrophysiologist and cardiologist at Hamilton Physician Group-Cardiology in Dalton, Georgia, and Hamilton Cardiovascular Institute-Catoosa in Ringgold, Georgia. He attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee, and completed his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

He also completed his cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Dunn treats patients with all types of heart rhythm disorders, including bradycardia, tachycardia, and atrial fibrillation. These problems are resolved through medications or minimally invasive procedures such as cardiac ablation or the insertion of a pacemaker or defibrillator.

“I grew up in a family of healthcare professionals. My father was a physician, and my mother was a physician’s assistant. Some of my earliest memories were spent in their clinic. Even at a young age, it was easy to appreciate their incredible relationships with their patients and how much of an impact they made on the lives of others. That was something I aspired to do as well. Now,
as a physician myself, nothing is more gratifying than performing a procedure and having my patient return home the same day feeling better.”

Dr. Dunn and his wife grew up in the North Georgia/Chattanooga area. In their spare time, they enjoy hiking and exploring the outdoors.

To schedule an appointment with Dunn, call Hamilton Physician Group – Cardiology at 706-226-3434.
