Daryl has been a physical therapist assistant for 22 years with the last 20 years being here at HMC. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science with a concentration in exercise physiology from Covenant College in 1997. He then pursued an applied associate’s degree from Chattanooga State’s physical therapist assistant program. He enjoys working with aquatic and orthopedic patients. In his free time, he enjoys riding bikes, Frisbee golf, and family adventures.

Elisabeth Gay Rice, PT, CHT
Gay is a cum laude graduate of Georgia State University. A native Daltonian, Gay has over 35 years of experience providing physical therapy to patients in the Dalton area. She is a Certified Hand Therapist and has an interest in all orthopedic conditions. Gay is also a certified LSVT BIG therapist. LSVT BIG is a specialty program for those with Parkinson’s disease. She is on the board of directors for Camp Juliette Low, Inc., an independent, non-profit camp for girls. Gay is the current president of NWGA SORBA, a trail advocacy organization. In her leisure time, she enjoys hiking, bicycling, and traveling.
Erin Trentham, PT, DPT, LSVT BIG Certified
Erin Trentham, a native of Dalton, GA, received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University. Since graduating in 2017, she has pursued a specialization in Vestibular Rehabilitation to treat dizziness and vertigo of different causes and become a certified LSVT BIG therapist to help treat the Parkinson’s community. Erin enjoys therapy because she feels that she is one of the most integral parts to get people back to their goals.

Teresa has a degree in physical therapy from Chattanooga State with 37 years of experience mostly in outpatient orthopedics. She is a certified clinical instructor (CCI) for PTA students that come to Bradley Whiteside Rehab for hands-on experience. She has worked for Hamilton Health Care System for 5 years.

Emily Brandt, MD is a board-certified Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician at Anna Shaw Children’s Institute in Dalton, GA.
