Hamilton Physician Group welcomes neurosurgeon, Samuel Critides, II, MD, to our medical staff. Dr. Critides and his wife, Maricarmen, and four children recently moved to Dalton from Pensacola, Florida, where he served as a neurosurgeon and medical director of the Gamma Knife Center at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Dr. Critides completed medical school at the University of Medicine of New Jersey, is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons,and is a retired Commander in the U.S. Navy. During his 20 years in the military, he received multiple awards, served as medical director for the Wounded Warrior Regiment of the U.S. Marine Corps, and was deployed to Haiti on an earthquake relief mission where he performed over 60 urgent neurosurgical procedures.
Dr. Critides joins Josh Hare, DO, and Justin Hare, DO at Hamilton Physician Group-Neurosurgery and Spine Center in Dalton.
