A germ’s worst enemy!
Meet Spark, one of Hamilton’s three germ-zapping robots. She destroys difficult-to-kill germs in hard-to-clean places, and she’s an important part of Hamilton Medical Center’s Environmental Services team.
Hamilton Medical Center was the first hospital in the North Georgia region to use Xenex germ-zapping robots to disinfect its hospital rooms, equipment, and surfaces. Used in conjunction with Hamilton’s team of environmental services professionals, the Xenex robots use Full-Spectrum™ pulsed xenon ultraviolet (UV) light to quickly destroy harmful bacteria, viruses, fungi, and bacterial spores. The portable disinfection system is effective against even the most dangerous pathogens, including Clostridium difficile (C. diff), norovirus, influenza, Ebola, and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, better known as MRSA. Xenex robots disinfect 99.9% of dangerous contaminants.
