Hamilton to hold Men's Health Challenge - 2014

DALTON, Ga. – Screenings, fitness challenges and prizes will be part of Hamilton Medical Center’s Men’s Health Challenge on Saturday, Aug. 23, 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Bradley Wellness Center (BWC). The event is free!

The screenings – worth more than $500 – will include cholesterol, glucose, thyroid, PSA, vision, body fat, spine, injury risk, grip strength and balance. Also, Charles Idom, Jr, MD, will give a prostate presentation at 9 a.m. in the BWC classroom and provide prostate exams.

The fitness challenges will include activities such as a football throw and golf swing analysis.

All preregistered participants will receive a free gift and opportunities to win a 32-inch flat screen TV, charcoal grill, Home Depot gift card or other prizes.

The event will also include chair massages, a Home Depot “how to” demonstration, snacks and information on health and fitness.
