Michael
C. Harley, MD is a vascular
surgeon, adding his vascular expertise to
the overall treatment of wound care. Vascular
issues are often the reason that wounds don't
heal properly. Hartley's experience offers a
streamlined process in assessing why a wound
doesn't heal. Hartley also specializes in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy – a treatment in which the patient breathes 100% oxygen at pressures greater than normal atmosphere. This process stimulates healing by increasing oxygen supply to the wound, promoting the formation of new blood vessels, and decreasing the chance of infection. |
