Gifts of Remembrance

A gift in memory or in honor of a loved one has become an expression of thoughtfulness to many. These types of gifts, in any amount, are appropriate ways to recognize someone's life, a relative or friend's birthday, or other special occasion and can be specifically designated to support the areas listed below.

March 30th is National Doctors’ Day

This day provides a unique way to show your appreciation. . . to say thank you to the outstanding women and men who protect the health and lives of our families and community.  Doctors perform vital diagnosis and provide treatment and care for you and your family.  This year, we are asking the community to join us in the celebration of Doctors’ Day to honor our finest physicians.
With the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation’s Gifts of Remembrance program, you may honor your doctor with a note of thanks and a generous donation to keep health care services at Hamilton Medical Center strong.  While the amount of your gift will remain confidential, each thoughtful Gifts of Remembrance donation will be promptly acknowledged to the doctor or doctors of your choice using a specially designed Doctors’ Day Appreciation Card.   If you would like for us to add a special “Note of Appreciation” in the note card, please complete the appropriate section.

As always, gifts to the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation will be designated to support the greatest need or one of Hamilton's critical patient care service area which you choose.

Precious Additions

At Hamilton Medical Center we realize that the birth of a child is one of life’s most important occasions and we share in your excitement and know what a cause for celebration this happy moment brings.

To recognize this special occasion, the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation developed the Precious Additions giving program to recognize those born at Hamilton Medical Center.  The Precious Additions Wall is a visible reminder of your family’s special experience and is a wonderful opportunity for parents, grandparents, family members or friends to share the joy of a baby’s birth.

For a minimum gift of $25, your loved-one’s name will be permanently placed on the Precious Additions Wall in the Turner Maternal and Infant Care Center.  Your gift will be used to support and advance the quality of health care provided by Hamilton Medical Center and is tax deductible as allowed by law.  Those honored in the Precious Additions program will receive a commemorative acknowledgement card and will be recognized in Hamilton’s publication, Hamiltonhealth.

To include your loved-one born at Hamilton Medical Center on the Precious Additions Wall, please complete and submit the form below for a credit card transaction.

Love Lights

2014 Love Lights raised $14,865 to benefit Hamilton Hospice, which provides compassionate end-of-life care for terminally ill patients.  Since 1983, the Love Lights program has raised more than $571,000 to enhance Hamilton’s patient care programs.   Thank You for your support!

In December of each year, the Love Light Trees located atop Hamilton Medical Center offer a unique way to honor and remember special loved ones during the holiday season.   A minimum gift of $10 places a “Love Light” on the trees, a $100 donation designates a “star light”, and a $500 donation designates an “angel”.   For each thoughtful gift made, a personalized acknowledgement will be mailed to the individuals you wish to honor.  All contributions are listed each Sunday in the The Daily Citizen.  All gifts are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Please join us for the 33rd Annual Love Light Trees Lighting Celebration on Monday, November 30 at 6:00 p.m. at Hamilton Medical Center in the Bandy Parking  Plaza on the corner of Memorial and Broadrick Drives.
