Importance of Prenatal Care

Prenatal care can help keep you and your baby healthy. According to the U.S Department of Health and Human Services Office on Women’s Health, “Babies of mothers who do not get prenatal care are three times more likely to have a low birth weight and five times more likely to die than those born to mothers who do get care.”

Regularly scheduled prenatal appointments can allow doctors to detect and treat potential health problems early. Give your child a healthy start to life!
