In honor of Orthopaedic Technologist Day, Aug. 24, the Hamilton Medical Center (HMC) Emergency Department recognized Bobby Rhodes, HMC’s orthopaedic technologist. He has been employed at HMC for 15 years and is a registered ortho tech, EMT, Red Cross CPR instructor and a member of American Society of Orthopedic Professionals. He received Hamilton’s Star Thrower Award this year for going above and beyond when taking care of a patient.  He began his career in the medical field in 1974.  Rhodes says he enjoys one-on-one patient care. His goal is to treat everyone like he would like to be treated.
