DALTON, Ga. – Anyone who has lost a loved one is invited to attend
the Hamilton Hospice Spring Memorial Service, scheduled for 2
p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17 in the Brown Conference Center auditorium,
located in the Burkett Building on the Hamilton Medical Center campus.
The service reflects and honors the loved ones cared for by our
organization over the past year.
“It is a wonderful tribute that honors the life of someone special, a time to recall special memories that will last forever,” said Kenneth Morgan, Hamilton Hospice bereavement coordinator. “In addition, our memorial service provides comfort and closure for those wrestling with the death of a family member or friend.”
Family members and friends in attendance will be comforted with poetry, candle lighting, special music, and at the conclusion of the service, each family will place a butterfly on a tribute tree as a symbol of love and hope.
The memorial service is sponsored by the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Hamilton Health Care System, and held each spring and fall.
