Dalton, GA – April 24, 2008 – Hamilton Health Care System has been named the recipient of The Jackson Group’s prestigious Laureate Award for Workplace Enhancement. A Representative of the Jackson Group presented the award to the hospital’s leadership on Wednesday, April 2nd.

The Laureate Award for Workplace Enhancement was awarded to Hamilton Health Care System based on Continuous Employee Perceptions Survey results that exemplified significant improvement in accordance with The Jackson Group’s criteria. The Jackson Group, a survey services and consulting firm, administered Associate surveys in 2003 and 2006-2007 to measure improvements in the work climate and plan for further action in areas in need of continued focus. The 2006-2007 survey results indicated Hamilton Health Care System has some points of success in their work place culture to celebrate, and strong improvement compared to 2003 was apparent in most of the survey outcomes.

“The results of the Continuous Employee Perceptions survey were evidence of efforts made by Hamilton Health Care System to invest in the human capital of their healthcare organization by making sound management decisions that have been well received by both associates and managers,” said Alan Jackson, President of The Jackson Group. “Through these efforts over the last several years in surveying with our firm, it is apparent that leadership has built a very positive work climate for their associates.”
