Royal Oaks Celebrates 10 Years

Dalton, GA – Throughout the month of April, Royal Oaks has hosted several events to celebrate tens years of leadership in independent retirement and assisted living.

Dedicated on November 16, 1994, Royal Oaks was the region’s first comprehensive retirement community. Over the subsequent decade, it has maintained its distinctive reputation for excellence throughout the region.

“The reputation and success of Royal Oaks is exceptional because of the quality of the staff, led since 2000 by Executive Director, Anne Reagan,” said Gary Howard, Executive Vice President of Royal Oaks and its parent organization Hamilton Health Care System. “We have been blessed with staff whose efforts are devoted to creating the finest environment possible for seniors/mature adults.”

Royal Oaks, an affiliate of Dalton-based Hamilton Health Care System, is a non-profit retirement community that provides a comfortable, caring and secure residential lifestyle for mature adults. The Gardens at Royal Oaks provides apartments for persons seeking assisted living services.

The community has 72 residential apartments, which feature a private patio or balcony, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and an emergency call system. Amenities include fine dining, transportation and weekly housekeeping that includes flat linen service.

“Our residents can have time to get acquainted and build friendships through a number of activities around the community,” said Anne Reagan, Executive Director.

“The vision of Royal Oaks has been achieved through the devoted support of the Hamilton Health Care System and Royal Oaks Boards,” reported Howard. “Without their abiding interest and active guidance, Royal Oaks would not be what it is today.”

Ten-year celebration events took place for Royal Oaks on Thursday, April 21st and The Gardens on Sunday, April 24th. The events featured the talents of internationally recognized soprano, Stella Zambalis with accompaniment by Peter Infanger and local music group, The Brookwoods.
