Hand Weights
Cross trainer weights are used by beginning and advanced exercisers. The weights can be combined with other exercises, such as aerobics, walking or jogging to strengthen your heart and other muscles. May also be used to strengthen handgrip by pressing and releasing foam covered spring-grip surface. The weights rinse clean with soap and water. Body Ball
Get on the ball to get flexible. Now there’s a fun new way to workout- with a big, flexible ball that helps you to gain balance and coordination while shaping and toning your entire body. The body ball was originally developed in Switzerland for use in physical therapy, but now offers a complete workout to anyone. It is ideal for all fitness levels. Medicine Ball
A few minutes a day tossing around a medicine ball can make a difference in your chest and arms. The balls vary in weight and begin at four pounds. They can be tossed back and forth between two people, handed between two people to firm stomach muscles, or used by one person. The balls are available at a variety of sporting goods stores for around $20.

Pedometer
A pedometer is a great way to measure the distance you travel while walking or running. This pedometer, manufactured by Bollinger, features three digital counters that let you record distances up to 99.9 miles. FlexBand
FlexBands are flexible fitness accessories for use in aerobic workouts. FlexBands are designed for resistance, toning and strengthening the arms, back and upper body. Made from firm surgical tubes with foam grips for easy handling during workouts. They store easily and travel anywhere. FlexBands are available at sporting goods stores for under $30.

Membership to Bradley Wellness Center
For a great holiday gift, consider giving that special someone (or yourself!) a membership to the Bradley Center for Wellness. The variety at Bradley Center for Wellness can’t be matched by any other club in the area. The aerobics program is great, with a number of class times and options, including step classes and water aerobics. Swimming, tennis, racquetball, volleyball, and basketball is available. For year round running, there are indoor and outdoor tracks. Step Aerobics
Adjustable height step boxes offer a great fitness routine by increasing the difficulty level of workouts and raising the heart rate. The boxes can be adjusted to different heights depending on the user’s fitness level. Step boxes range in price from $25 to $70 dollars. Dietary Dilemmas
Here’s a unique gift to show someone that you care about his or her health. Give a one-on-one consultation with a registered dietician from the Bradley Center for Wellness. Bradley Center for Wellness’ DeNeese Buchholtz, registered dietician, will perform a three-day recall diet analysis and develop an individualized eating plan based on dietary needs. The cost is $35 for the initial one-hour consultation. Follow-up appointments are $20 per ½ hour session.
