Hamilton hosting luncheon for local ministers - October 16, 2015

 Ken Waddell, Hamilton Medical Center chaplainDALTON, Ga. – Hamilton Medical Center (HMC) is inviting all local clergy to attend a clergy appreciation luncheon on Friday, Oct. 16 at 11:30 a.m. in the Griggs-Turner Mensa (near the cafeteria) at HMC.

Jerry Tatum, HMC Public Safety director, and Rev. W. Louis Snead will present “From Fear to Safety: Pastoral Responses to Shootings and Acts of Violence.”

“When chaos happens, we appreciate spiritual leaders who share hope,” said Ken Waddell, HMC chaplain. “Our goal in hosting this luncheon is to express our appreciation for the hearts and hands of our clergy, and their response in our region. Please encourage your pastor to attend.”

The event will include prayers for victims and all who have been affected by shootings and acts of violence.
