Hamilton Medical Center recently hosted a breast cancer update through the hospital’s continuing medical education (CME) program. The featured speaker was Ruth O’Regan, MD, from the Emory Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta. The update included a review of staging for breast cancer and a review of breast cancer subtypes and National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) treatment guidelines for early stage disease.
