DALTON, Ga.– Hamilton Medical Center (HMC) will host a blood drive through Blood Assurance on Friday, Dec. 13. The drive will be held in memory or honor of a loved one.

Greeting cards – communicating that blood was donated in memory or honor of a special person – will be available and mailed to the person of the donor’s choice.

“This is a great way to let someone know that you gave the gift of life to honor a special family member or friend this holiday season,” said Debra Hathcock, one of HMC’s organizers for the drive.

The Bloodmobile will be set up to take donors in the lower parking lot of Bradley Wellness Center (1225 Broadrick Drive) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13. Donors will receive long-sleeve T-shirts and snacks and have a chance to enter the monthly Blood Assurance prize, as well as enter to win a $50 gift card from HMC. To set up a time to donate, please call 706-272-6114.
