Hamilton Medical Center's program has a proven track record of good surgical outcomes. The Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) is a joint designation given by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
MBSAQIP accreditation is important because it provides an objective and measurable means in which a center can demonstrate that if offers high quality care in a multidisciplinary format. The personnel and infrastructure required to attain accreditation provide pathways for high quality operations and support efforts inherent to patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes. Maintenance of accreditation requires consistent attention to the details of the program on an ongoing basis with periodic review of outcomes, pathways and protocols that ensures the center is providing safe and competent metabolic and bariatric surgical care.
We are committed to offering you the best care and will continue to pursue excellence in every aspect of our practice. For more information: www.mbsaqip.org
