Providing area residents with quality health care is our mission at Hamilton Medical Center. To better serve the needs of our community, Hamilton has established innovative ways to make health care accessible for all citizens of Northwest Georgia. Hamilton Healthmobile Services are provided from two 40-foot units completely equipped to provide acute and chronic care management, referral for further care evaluation, pregnancy testing, extensive laboratory testing (through Hamilton Medical Center's Outreach Laboratory), physicals and Pap tests, flu shots and pnuemonia vaccines, diabetes and hypertension screenings, HIV (AIDS) testing, on-site laboratory testing (of fingerstick blood glucose, urinalysis, hemoglobin), and health education and healthy lifestyle management information. These services are provided at minimal fees and no one is denied services because of inability to pay. Services are provided in coordination and collaboration with medical staff at Hamilton medical Center when appropriate. The Healthmobile Units are staffed by a Family Nurse Practitioner, a Registered Nurse, and three Licensed Practical Nurses (check schedule for location of the Family Nurse Practitioner or call 706-272-6100 for a recorded message of the sites). The two units travel daily to designated sites in Whitfield and Murray Counties to provide access to primary health care to the community. The Healthmobile Units also participate regularly in health fairs and community functions to serve an even greater group of citizens.

Hamilton Health Mobile Services offer two mobile health units that provide immunizations, pregnancy testing and referrals, prenatal care, Head Start physicals, pap smears, hemoglobin and urinalysis studies, flu and pneumonia vaccines, diabetes screenings and HIV (AIDS) testing to citizens of Murray and Whitfield counties at little or no cost to residents.
