Accreditation

Hamilton Regional Cancer Institute has achieved the Three-Year with Commendation. This is the highest level of achievement and is awarded when the program complies with all standards and receives a commendation rating for one or more of the eligible standards.

The American College of Surgeons (ACoS) Commission on Cancer recognizes our institution’s commitment to maintaining our cancer program and we participate in their Accreditation Program. The survey process is based on objective evaluation of the 36 standards set forth in the current Cancer Program Standards 2009, Revised Edition. The accreditation award acknowledges the program’s performance compared to the standards.
