To raise awareness for men’s health issues, Hamilton Medical Center is encouraging men to grow moustaches in November as part of “MOvember.”
MOvember is a world-wide movement that is designed to generate conversation among men regarding prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and other common diseases. The word “mo” is slang for “moustache” in Australia.
Women are asked to help spread awareness and encourage the men in their lives to schedule a yearly check up with their primary health care provider.
