The Whitfield Healthcare Foundation was established in 1975 to encourage charitable gifts that support and advance the quality of health care provided by Hamilton Health Care System. As a not-for-profit, tax-exempt philanthropic corporation, the Foundation allocates charitable funds to facilities, equipment and programs to enhance patient care, promote health education, and improve the quality of life for all citizens of our community.

Since May 12, 1921, Hamilton Medical Center has made compassionate, quality health care available to every citizen in our community…regardless of their ability to pay. Gifts to the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation are considered gifts of support from the community, gifts that acknowledge the importance of preserving and enhancing the health status of our community. Making a difference in the health of our region is what the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation is all about.
